Sake For Sendai

In May 2011, friends and fellow sake-lovers of Nihonshu Shochu & Sake Bar united for one very special evening to raise funds for the recent earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan.
The night of free-flowing sake, beer, pizza and a Wii bowling tournament that ensued helped raise $3000 in aid for disaster relief efforts. This amount has been handed over to the Australian Red Cross For Japan and Asia Pacific Disaster Appeal.
A hearty thanks to all who attended and gave generously! Our thoughts and prayers go out to those still rebuilding their lives after the tragic events of March.
